FIRE OPERATIONS
The Bensalem Fire Rescue Department responds to all fires, rescues and hazardous material incidents Monday - Friday during the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. In addition, they assist Bensalem EMS by providing QRS (Quick Response Service).
The Bensalem Township Firefighters hold numerous nationally and state recognized certifications including Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Hazardous Materials Technicians, EMT, Fire Inspector, and Plans Review. In addition, the Firefighters are certified in the following rescue operations. Basic Vehicle Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Trench Rescue, Ropes and Riggings and Structural Collapse.
