EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT (EMA)
The Bensalem Emergency Management Agency is comprised of personnel from the Bensalem Fire Rescue Department, Police Department, Emergency Medical Services and local volunteer Fire Departments. The Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is responsible for the following:
Maintaining the township’s Emergency Management Plan
Managing the Emergency Operation Center
Conducting disaster exercises / drills.
Coordinating the planning and preparedness activities
Preparing and maintaining a resource guide / inventory.
